West Ham United women’s team midfielder Sarah Brasero has been called up to England’s U23s squad, as they continue their WU23 European Competition campaign during the upcoming international break.
Last month, the Young Lionesses took a point from their opening two matches of the competition, as Brasero produced an assist in a 1-1 draw with Portugal U23s at Sixfields Stadium in Northampton, leaving them at the foot of Group A on goal difference.
In their final international window of 2025, England U23s will first host Norway at Manchester City’s Joie Stadium on Thursday 27 November, with kick-off coming at 7pm GMT. They will then welcome the USA to Accrington Stanley’s Wham Stadium on Monday 1 December at 7pm GMT.
Brasero, who was our first signing in the summer transfer window, has made six appearances for the Hammers across all competitions this season, scoring her first goal for the Club against Charlton Athletic in the Subway® Women's League Cup in September.
The 21-year-old made her England U23s debut in December 2024, having also played for her country at U15 and U19 level.
