In Pictures: Women's team support Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month ahead of Manchester United

West Ham United women's team are preparing to welcome Manchester United to Chigwell Construction Stadium on Sunday afternoon as Barclays Women's Super League action returns.

The players wore Ovarian Cancer Action T-shirts to show their support for Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month, which takes place throughout March.

Ovarian Cancer Action, founded in 2005, helps raise awareness of the key symptoms of ovarian cancer by advancing ovarian cancer research across the UK.

To help raise vital awareness and funds, Ovarian Cancer Action have rolled out an initiative called ‘Walk in Her Name’ encouraging anyone that has been affected by ovarian cancer to walk 100km throughout March, in her name. This is much more than a challenge, it’s a community coming together, uniting for a world where every woman will survive ovarian cancer.

West Ham United women's team staff will also be wearing pin badges throughout March to show their support.
