Amber Tysiak

Internationals | Tysiak named in Belgium squad for Switzerland and Finland friendlies

West Ham United women’s team defender Amber Tysiak has been named in Belgium’s squad for their friendlies during the November international window.

Our No5, who represented her country at her second European Championships in the summer, will once again team up with the Red Flames as they look to bounce back from their UEFA Women’s Nations League relegation in the last international break.

Belgium will first take on Switzerland at Estadio Municipal de Chapín, in Spain, on Friday 28 November, with kick-off at 6pm GMT, before facing Finland at Estadio El Palmar, also in Spain, on Monday 1 December at 6pm GMT.

The 25-year-old, who has made eight appearances for the Hammers in all competitions this term, was on target in our 3-1 Barclays Women’s Super League success at home to Everton on Sunday, clinically heading home from Viviane Asseyi’s corner.

Tysiak has also captained the Hammers in our Subway® Women's League Cup win at Charlton Athletic and made her 50th appearance for the Club against Brighton & Hove Albion, in the same competition, in October.
