West Ham United defeated Ipswich Town 4-1 at London Stadium thanks to goals by Michail Antonio, Mohammed Kudus, Jarrod Bowen and Lucas Paquetá.
Antonio looked to have given the Irons the perfect start when he scored after 49 seconds, sweeping home from Bowen's low, right-wing cross.
But Ipswich hit back within five minutes when Liam Delap fired home by the near post after the Hammers failed to clear a corner.
The Hammers came on strong towards the end of the opening period though, and after Kudus hit the post with a header and Tomáš Souček had an effort blocked on the line by Dara O'Shea, Kudus headed us back into the lead, converting on the rebound after Antonio struck the underside of the bar.
Then, four minutes after half-time, Antonio put goalkeeper Arijanet Muric under pressure and forced a poor clearance which Bowen collected, before cutting in from from the right and finishing clinically.
Twenty-one minutes from time the Hammers had a fourth as Bowen teased the Ipswich defence from his flank and nudged a ball across for Paquetá to finish from close range.
