US-based Official Supporters' Clubs get together for New York fan party

West Ham United supporters from all over North America and beyond joined forces at the iconic Smithfield Hall pub in New York City on Friday evening.

The home of the NYC Hammers welcomed over 200 fans from more than a dozen Official Supporters’ Clubs from across the United States, as well as many who had crossed the Atlantic Ocean to watch West Ham in action at the 2025 Premier League Summer Series, for a party.

Graham Potter’s side kick-off their Summer Series by facing Manchester United at MetLife Stadium, across the Hudson River in New Jersey, on Saturday at 7pm ET. Tickets are still available HERE. Use code PLSS20 now to save 20% on select seats.

To warm-up, Club legend and ambassador Anton Ferdinand and his fellow 2005 promotion winner and 2006 FA Cup finalist Nigel Reo-Coker joined fans for an evening full of laughs, memories and stories shared.

Ferdinand said: “What a night! The West Ham family is everywhere and it shows just what a massive Club we are that we packed out the pub and covered it in Claret and Blue.

“The passion of the fans is incredible – tattoos, classic shirts, flags, everything! As someone who joined this Club at the age of nine, I know how deep it runs and to be with them for the evening, and with Nige, was a brilliant way to get ready for the big game.”

Deborah Balme from NYC Hammers was delighted to welcome likeminded fans from all over to their home in the Big Apple.

“It’s great that we’ve had this event at Smithfield Hall,” she said. “It’s been a few weeks of planning with the Club and the organisation has been fantastic with the bar. This is our home, we’re here for every West Ham game and the open for us whatever time, day or night, so we’re grateful to bring everyone here. Hanging out with all the other Supporters’ Clubs from across the US and fans from London has been great.”

Among the Official Supporters' Clubs in attendance were NYC Hammers, The Columbus E13, Chicago Hammers, Philly Hammers, Connecticut Irons, DC Irons, Baltimore Hammers, Detroit Hammers, Tampa Hammers, St Louis Hammers, Dallas Hammers, Nickel City Irons, Queen City Hammers, Rhody Hammers, Mile High Hammers and Austin Texas West Ham Supporters, as well as Vancouver Hammers from Canada and the Trans-Pennine Irons and Essex Hammers from England.
