Jarrod Bowen arrives at London Stadium

Team News: Bowen returns for Crystal Palace clash

Jarrod Bowen returns to West Ham United’s starting XI for our Premier League fixture against Crystal Palace.

The No20 is one of two changes from last weekend’s Premier League win over Burnley, as defender Konstantinos Mavropanos keeps his place following an impressive showing in midweek.

Seeking his 50th goal in Claret and Blue, Bowen is set to make his 175th Club appearance.

A strong Hammers' line-up also includes seasoned internationals Edson Álvarez and Mohammed Kudus, who return having missed our UEFA Europa League win over FK TSC on Thursday.

Between the sticks, Alphonse Areola keeps his place in the Premier League side, with the Hammers looking for consecutive clean sheets in all competitions.

In front of the French goalkeeper, Mavropanos partners Nayef Aguerd in consecutive fixtures in the heart of the defence. Vladimír Coufal and Emerson complete the back four.

Looking to score for a sixth straight match for Club and country, Tomáš Souček will skipper the side. He joins James Ward-Prowse in the middle of the park for the sixth straight match.

Further forward, Paquetá and Kudus will lead the support of the returning Jarrod Bowen, who has eight goals in all competitions this term.

Only Erling Haaland and Mo Salah have scored more in the Premier League this season than the impressive No20.

There is plenty of experience for the Hammers on the bench too, with Thursday’s starters Łukasz Fabiański, Saïd Benrahma, Pablo Fornals, Divin Mubama and Aaron Cresswell involved.

Defenders Thilo Kehrer and Angelo Ogbonna will also be available at London Stadium, while Danny Ings and Maxwel Cornet, who assisted Souček’s winner in Serbia, complete the matchday squad.

Kurt Zouma misses today's fixture owing to a private family matter.
