The Sunshine State Tour - Frequently Asked Questions

West Ham United's men’s first team will visit Florida for the first time for a two-match Sunshine State Tour in summer 2024.​

The Hammers will cross the Atlantic Ocean to the United States to take on Premier League rivals Wolverhampton Wanderers and Crystal Palace in two exciting fixtures as part of the inaugural Stateside Cup.​

The Irons will take on Wolves at EverBank Stadium in Jacksonville on Saturday 27 July at 7pm EDT, before facing the Eagles at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa on Saturday 3 August at 7pm EDT.​ Palace and Wolves will play in between, with the top performing team being presented with the Stateside Cup.

What can you tell me about The Sunshine State Tour?

West Ham United’s men’s first-team squad will visit the American State of Florida for the first time in the Club’s history in July-August 2024. During their stay in the United States, the Irons will play two matches in the inaugural Stateside Cup against English Premier League rivals Crystal Palace and Wolverhampton Wanderers in the cities of Tampa and Jacksonville respectively, host open training sessions and immerse ourselves in the local cultures and communities. 

What is The Stateside Cup?

The Stateside Cup is a new pre-season tournament featuring three English Premier League clubs created by Maryland-based international event agency Elite Promotions Group. The tournament will be played in three cities over a week between 27 July-3 August 2024 and feature West Ham United, Crystal Palace and Wolverhampton Wanderers. Matches will be played at EverBank Stadium in Jacksonville, Florida, Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium in Annapolis, Maryland, and Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. The inaugural Stateside Cup trophy will be awarded to the top performing team across the three fixtures.

When and where can West Ham United supporters buy tickets?

A pre-sale took place over the weekend of 10-12 May for West Ham United supporters who pre-registered. 

A general sale began on 10am EDT (3pm BST) on Monday 13 May. Tickets are available now here. 

All tickets will be digital and sent to supporters by email to download onto mobile devices.  

Will there be a designated West Ham United supporters’ area at both stadiums?

Yes, there will. Designated sections for West Ham United supporters can be found on each stadium map as you go through the purchase process. 

The designated sections at EverBank Stadium are Blocks 147, 148 and 149 (approximately 1,600 seats). 

The designated sections at Raymond James Stadium are Blocks 122, 123 and 124 (approximately 1,700 seats). 

Only lower bowl sections will be on sale in the opening sales period for both fixtures. 

What are the ticket prices?

Ticket prices start from $35 for both matches.

Yes, for both fixtures.

Can West Ham United supporters buy premium seating?

Yes. Supporters can purchase a Suite in both stadiums, which offer an intimate, climate-controlled environment from which to enjoy the action, and your own private restroom.

Are accessible seats and parking available?

Yes, accessible seats, wheelchair spaces accessible parking and other facilities for supporters with additional needs on matchday are available at both stadiums.

Will food and drink be served at the matches?

Yes, all the concessions stands will be open at both stadiums on matchday. Supporters should note that Florida state law prohibits the sale of alcoholic beverages to persons under the age of 21, and fans should expect to show valid identification and proof of age when buying alcoholic beverages. 

How can I travel to Florida from the UK?

You can fly direct from London to Tampa or Orlando, which is situated 85 miles to the east down Interstate 4. There are no direct flights from London to Jacksonville, but you can book return flights via Atlanta, Boston or New York. 

When and where will the open training sessions be held? 

Open training sessions will be held in both Jacksonville and Tampa. More details will be confirmed in due course. 

Will our Stateside Cup matches be broadcast or streamed live?

Information about potential live broadcasts or streams of matches will be provided at a later date.
