West Ham United women’s team manager Rehanne Skinner will field two different XIs in her side’s pre-season friendly with Sparta Prague on Sunday afternoon.
The Hammers have been in the capital of the Czech Republic for a pre-season training camp, and will now test themselves against the record 1. Liga Women holders.
The first-half team will see goalkeeper Kinga Szemik, fresh from representing Poland at UEFA Women’s Euro 2025, start between the sticks, and she is likely to be supported by a back four.
Summer signing Yu Endo will be at right-back, alongside a centre-back partnership of Amber Tysiak and Shelina Zadorsky, with left-back Inès Belloumou completing the defensive line.
Captain Katrina Gorry will marshal the midfield for the first 45 with Keira Flannery, while last term’s Hammer of the Year Viviane Asseyi, Seraina Piubel and 2024/25 Barclays Women’s Super League Rising Star Shekiera Martinez will likely play in behind Riko Ueki.
Meanwhile, full-back Anouk Denton is on the bench.

Ueki will remain on the pitch for the start of the second half, as will vice-captain Zadorsky, but Skinner will otherwise make nine changes to her side at the break.
Megan Walsh, who recently penned a new contract at the Club, will start in goal for the second period, supported by a defensive line of Selin Cemal, Eva Nyström, Zadorsky and Verena Hanshaw.
Finland international Oona Siren and Halle Houssein will sit in front of the back-line, looking to thread balls through to an interchangeable attack of Emily Brown, summer signing Ffion Morgan, Soraya Walsh and Ueki.
New arrival Sarah Brasero will be looking to make an impact off the bench in the second half.
