AFC Bournemouth v West Ham United
Premier League Summer Series, Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Atlanta, Georgia, United States, Sunday 3 August 2025, 2pm EDT (7pm BST)
Jarrod Bowen, Lucas Paquetá and Niclas Füllkrug have all been named in West Ham United’s starting XI for the third and final 2025 Premier League Summer Series fixture against AFC Bournemouth in the United States.
Head Coach Graham Potter has also picked Hammer of the Year Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Academy of Football graduate Freddie Potts in his side at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia.
In all, Potter makes six changes from the team which started the 2-1 victory over Everton at Soldier Field in Chicago on Wednesday.
Alphonse Areola returns in place of Wes Foderingham in goal.
Wan-Bissaka is back at right wing-back, with El Hadji Malick Diouf at left wing-back and Jean-Clair Todibo, Maximilian Kilman and Nayef Aguerd in the centre. Dinos Mavropanos and Kaelan Casey drop to the bench.
In midfield, Potts and James Ward-Prowse keep their places, with Paquetá moving back from the forward line into the midfield three. The Brazilian scored in Wednesday’s win over Everton in Chicago.
Bowen and Füllkrug are both back into the starting XI up front, with both strikers seeking their second goal of the Summer Series. Bowen scored against Manchester United at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey last weekend, while Füllkrug netted the winner against Everton at Soldier Field in midweek.

Substitute Edson Álvarez has played at this stadium three times for Mexico, in a 3-1 friendly win over Venezuela in June 2019, in a goalless friendly draw with Honduras in June 2021, and a 3-3 friendly draw with Uzbekistan in September 2023.
The 15-player bench is filled by goalkeeper Foderingham, defenders Kyle Walker-Peters, Ollie Scarles, Mavropanos, Casey and Airidas Golambeckis, midfielders Álvarez, Guido Rodríguez, Lewis Orford, Andy Irving, Preston Fearon, Tomáš Souček and Luis Guilherme and forwards Maxwel Cornet and Callum Marshall.
West Ham women’s team players Riko Ueki and Risa Shimizu appeared here for Japan in a 2-1 defeat by the United States in the 2024 She Believes Cup.
