What was the first album you bought?
“When I was young I really liked Kabát, who are a Czech hard rock group from Teplice, Czech Republic.
“I remember having an album called Corrida, and I think that was the first album I bought.”
What’s one song you couldn’t live without?
“I don’t have a particular favourite song, and I like a lot of music by Kabát.
“Their music provides a lot of motivation for running and sports, so we like them a lot in the Czech Republic.”

What was the best live music performance you’ve ever seen?
“I went to watch George Ezra with my wife at the O2 Arena, and he was really good, so I’d say that’s the best live music performance I’ve ever seen.”
Have you ever had to perform an initiation song?
“The one that I performed here at West Ham was Kabát, because when I arrived in London I didn’t speak much English, so I sang one of their songs in Czech, and it was good fun.”
What’s the best film or TV series you’ve ever watched?
“There are a few films and TV series that I like.
“Friends and Two and a Half Men are my two favourites, and when I was younger I liked the film Never Back Down.”

Which actor would best portray you in a film about your life and career?
“I’m going to say Jackie Chan, who was in The Karate Kid, or someone from Asterix and Obelix!”
Do you have a TV guilty pleasure?
“I really don't like TV at all, so I can’t say I have a TV guilty pleasure.”
Do you have a favourite book or author?
“I've read a few, but I read a lot of true stories.
“I read a lot of autobiographies of football players and managers, and one day I want to write my own.”

What three phone apps couldn’t you live without?
“I would say LiveScore, because I always want to check results, whether that’s football or tennis.
“I’d also say WhatsApp, then the West Ham United App, of course!”
What was the first games console and video game you owned?
“The first one I can remember owning was a PC, and the first game and only video game I played was FIFA.
“There are a few gamers within the squad, and I know Aaron [Wan-Bissaka] and Maximilian [Kilman] are very good.”
