Lucas Paquetá has been shortlisted for the Premier League Guinness Goal of the Month award for August 2025.
The Brazilian, who netted three goals in four games in all competitions in the opening month of the season, has been nominated for his long-range thunderbolt against Chelsea at London Stadium on Friday 22 August.
Paquetá let fly with a 25-yard strike just six minutes into the derby and the ball flew past goalkeeper Robert Sánchez and into the roof of the Chelsea net.
The Hammers' No10 has been nominated alongside AFC Bournemouth’s Antoine Semenyo, Tottenham Hotspur’s Richarlison, Everton’s James Garner and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Liverpool duo Dominik Szoboszlai and Rio Ngumoha, and Crystal Palace’s Marc Guéhi.
