Craig Pawson has been confirmed as the referee for Sunday’s Premier League match at home against Arsenal.

Pawson served as Video Assistant Referee in West Ham’s 2-0 win over Sunday’s opponents in December, and has handed out 52 yellow cards this term, as well as three red cards.

Most of Pawson’s appointments in 2023/24 so far have come in the Premier League, but the 44-year-old - who is on the FIFA International Referees List - has also taken charge of games in the EFL Cup, FA Cup, UEFA Europa League and UEFA Champions League qualifying.

Marc Perry and Steve Meredith will serve as the assistant referees at London Stadium.

The pair run the line in the Premier League regularly, and both served as assistants in the Hammers’ 2-1 win away at Burnley in November.

Perry has been a Premier League assistant referee since the 2013/14 campaign, and has worked 18 top-flight matches this season.

Meredith has worked as an assistant at 16 Premier League games so far this term. He was the Assistant Video Assistant Referee for West Ham’s 2-1 win away at Luton Town in September.

Graham Scott will work as the fourth official on Sunday.

The 55-year-old refereed the Irons’ 1-1 draw with Bristol City in the FA Cup in January, as well as the 2-0 Premier League win over Sheffield United in late September.

Video Assistant Referee duties are set to be overseen by John Brooks. The experienced whistler refereed the Irons’ 3-1 victory against Chelsea in August, where he sent off Nayef Aguerd midway through the second half.
