The skipper reflected on his summer wedding to Dani, her upcoming appearance on Strictly Come Dancing, and marrying into a West Ham-supporting family in the Dyers.
In a wide-ranging, entertaining chat, Bowen also recalled that he played at the Hammers' former Boleyn Ground home for Hull City against in the U21 Premier League Cup final first leg in April 2016.
Talk then turned more serious, reflecting on a productive pre-season in the United States and how the squad are implementing Head Coach Graham Potter's approach, to the Irons' opening-day Premier League defeat at Sunderland and Bowen's desire to lead his team to victory over Chelsea in the first home game of 2025/26 on Friday evening.
Individually, Bowen speaks of the confidence he feels in his own game, of his desire to break back into the England squad and how he trains and plays to his best every single day.
