A trio of young Hammers were in action for their countries on Saturday, as Josh Landers, Airidas Golambeckis and Lanre Awesu gained valuable experience on the international stage for Scotland U19s, England U19s and England U18s respectively.
Landers was on the scoresheet for his Scotland side, as they took on Kazakhstan U19s in the second fixture of their Slovenia Nations Cup campaign.
Landers' goal - his first at this level for his country - was not enough to prevent Scotland from falling to a 2-1 defeat, however - a second narrow loss of the week following a 3-2 reverse against the hosts on Wednesday.
Their campaign concludes on Tuesday against United Arab Emirates.
Defender Golambeckis started for England U19s as they battled out a 3-3 draw with Spain in Murcia.
The Young Lions gave a resilient performance to peg back their hosts on three occasions, with Chelsea's Shumaira Mheuka netting twice and Everton's Harrison Armstrong scoring the third equaliser late on.
Golambeckis, who doesn't turn 18 until November, played 69 minutes of the contest.
Goalkeeper Awesu featured for the 90 minutes of England U18s' 4-1 victory over Morocco, which saw them crowned champions of the Costa De La Luz U18 international tournament in Cádiz, southern Spain.
Winning his first cap at U18 level, Awesu was rarely troubled as England wrapped up a dominant victory.
They conclude September's international camp against Canada on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, on the senior stage, Jarrod Bowen was an unused substitute as England maintained their perfect record in 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying with a 2-0 win over Andorra at Villa Park.
