Niclas Füllkrug has been named in Julian Nagelsmann’s 26-man Germany squad for the upcoming UEFA Nations League finals.
The West Ham United striker has an excellent goalscoring record for the German national team, with 14 goals and two assists in 22 games since making his debut aged 29 while at Werder Bremen, ten years after representing his country at youth level.
The 32-year-old, who receives his first international call-up since September, scored in his last appearance, a 5-0 win over Hungary in their Group A3 opener, although an Achilles injury forced him off after an hour and kept him sidelined until December.

Germany topped their group unbeaten, finishing ahead of the Netherlands, Hungary and Bosnia & Herzegovina. A quarter-final victory on penalties against Italy, who finished third in the last edition, secured their place in the semi-finals, where they will face Portugal.
The squad will meet in Munich on Tuesday 3 June before facing Portugal in the semi-finals the following day (kick-off 8pm BST). The final in Munich (8pm BST) and the third-place play-off in Stuttgart (2pm BST) are both scheduled for Sunday 8 June.
Elsewhere, Füllkrug's fellow forward Evan Ferguson has been included in the 24-man Republic of Ireland squad ahead of their summer action.
Heimir Hallgrímsson's side are set to take on Senegal (Friday 6 June, 7.45pm BST) and Luxembourg (Tuesday 10 June, 7.45pm BST) in international friendlies, with Ferguson - who is currently on loan from Brighton & Hove Albion - looking to add to his tally of five goals from 20 caps.
