West Ham United continue our 2025/26 Premier League campaign when they host Crystal Palace this Saturday - and Fantasy Premier League (FPL) managers will be casting an eye over Hammers ahead of our latest London derby.
The Hammers put in a solid first-half display against Tottenham Hotspur last time out, but following Tomáš Souček’s red card shortly after the break, three goals in a 19-minute period condemned Graham Potter’s side to a scoreline that didn't reflect the way we played.
Looking forward, next up for West Ham is the visit of the Eagles, which has a Fixture Difficulty Rating (FDR) of three out of five, suggesting this game represents a strong opportunity to collect points by picking Hammers in your FPL team.
The squad is full of individuals looking to provide the touch of magic required to make the difference on the day, meaning there are a number of decisions to be made in the lead-up to kick-off.
The Gameweek 5 transfer deadline is set for 11am on Saturday 20 September ahead of a mouth-watering feast of weekend action.
While we will be giving you FPL tips and tricks throughout the remainder of the 2025/26 season on whufc.com, see below for some of our picks for the upcoming round.

Paquetá to continue early season form?
Lucas Paquetá (£5.9m) is one of the standout options for West Ham ahead of the visit of Crystal Palace.
Our No10 has been the Hammers’ most productive player so far this season, scoring more points (23) than any other player, is our set-piece taker, and offers both attacking and defensive points potential.
Priced at just £5.9m, he also represents a strong differential pick, and if West Ham are to find goals against Oliver Glasner’s side, they are likely to come through the in-form Paquetá.

Wilson to thrive on first start?
After a number of impressive cameo appearances off the bench so far this season, could Callum Wilson (£5.9m) be rewarded with a first start in Claret and Blue against Crystal Palace on Saturday?
The experienced striker, who played an integral role in West Ham’s 3-0 win over Nottingham Forest in August, where he earned a seven-point haul, says his first Hammers goal at the City Ground provided a welcome boost in morale and confidence.
Having enjoyed personal success against the south Londoners in the past, scoring three goals and registering four assists in 16 combined appearances, Wilson could lead the charge to earn our first home win of the season.

Bowen again Olé, Olé!
Jarrod Bowen (£7.8m) returned his first goal of the season in the Irons’ 3-0 win over Nottingham Forest in Gameweek 4.
The forward was West Ham’s top goal scorer last season with 13 goals, and despite just one goal so far this season, our No20 certainly remains one of our most efficient attackers.
Owned by just 6.7% of FPL managers, he could prove a handy differential pick when Crystal Palace visit east London on Saturday, while Bowen also scored against the Eagles at Selhurst Park in Gameweek 2 in 2024/25.
He’s racked up 15 FPL points so far this campaign, which is the same as left-back El Hadji Malick Diouf (£4.4m), and only Paquetá (23) has more.
