The Senegalese left-sided full-back or wing-back became our first senior signing of the summer when he arrived from Slavia Prague on Tuesday, before flying out to meet the squad on their pre-season training camp in the Black Forest of southern Germany.
It’s been an exciting couple of days for our new No12, who arrived in Donaueschingen late on Wednesday night to a warm welcome at the team’s hotel, and the West Ham TV cameras followed him around as he met staff members, including Head Coach Graham Potter, his new coaches and teammates, and trained for the first time as a Hammer on Thursday.
We kick-off our 2025/26 pre-season match action on Saturday, and our visit to GC/Campus could see Diouf make a first appearance in Claret and Blue as we take on 27-times Swiss champions Grasshopper Club Zürich.
That game will be streamed live on our website and app, with kick-off at 2pm BST (3pm CEST).
