Hammers legend Carlton Cole introduces Major League Baseball to West Ham United

 

Carlton Cole welcomed Major League Baseball greats past and present to London Stadium ahead of the historic first-ever London Series between the New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox.

The American League behemoths squared-off in two thrilling matchups at the home of West Ham United on Saturday and Sunday but, before then, met Hammers legend Cole during their pre-game workouts.

The former striker welcomed -Yankees legend and 14-time All-Star Alex Rodriguez and iconic film director and Yankees fan Spike Lee, before presenting a West Ham shirt to outfielder Aaron Hicks.

If that was not enough, Cole also handed a Claret and Blue shirt to Red Sox outfielder and reigning MVP Mookie Betts, while also rubbing shoulders with England forward and baseball fan Raheem Sterling.
