West Ham United U21s will find out their three EFL Trophy opponents on Friday (12th July) in a draw that will be broadcast live on TalkSport.
The draw will take place at 12:30pm and see the young Hammers placed in one of the eight groups in the regionalised South half of the competition.
All three of the group stage fixtures will take place away from home against League 1 and League 2 opponents.
Last year the U21s travelled to the south west to face Exeter City, Yeovil Town and Bristol Rovers.
West Ham are one of 16 academies who are invited to take part in the competition due to their Category One status.
This will be the fourth season academies have been invited into the EFL Trophy, helping the players gain valuable playing experience against EFL opposition.
