West Ham United women's team signed off their 2019/20 FA Women's Continental League Cup campaign in style, defeating Championship opposition Crystal Palace 7-0.
The Hammers' last home game of 2019 closed with the Irons three goals ahead at half-time, courtesy of Leanne Kiernan, Laura Vetterlein and Adriana Leon, while Kenza Dali and Kate Longhurst both added second-half braces to clip the Eagles.
While results elsewhere conspired to eliminate West Ham from the competition in the group stages, the attending supporters who braved the cold December evening were thoroughly warmed by enjoyable, attacking football by the home side.
