Green Street Goals - Frank McAvennie

West Ham United legend Frank McAvennie enjoyed an emotional night with the Boys of 86' when he returned to the Boleyn Ground as he saw the Hammers record a 2-0 win over Newcastle.


McAvennie was part of the famous side which recorded the highest ever finish in the top flight back in 1986 when the team finished third.


The former Scotland international forged a formidable partnership with Tony Cottee and went on to score an impressive 60 goals in just 190 appearances during his two spells with the Club.


McAvennie scored many memorable goals, but he picks out his final game against Nottingham Forest as his stand out memory when he departed with a famous hat-trick at the Boleyn Ground.
