West Ham United presented cheques to the Bobby Moore Fund for Cancer Research UK and Richard House Children's Hospice at last Saturday's game against Crystal Palace.
The cheques, each for £1,000, came from the Football Association Community Shield Fund.
Each of the 124 clubs which participated from the First Round Proper of the FA Cup with Budweiser in 2012/13 were presented with £2,000, with the money drawn from 35 per cent of the total matchday income from the 2013 FA Community Shield.
Each club nominates up to three charities to receive their share of the Fund, with the remainder being donated to the FA's charity partner, which this season is the Teenage Cancer Trust.
