Andy Carroll v Sunderland

It was another trademark Carroll header which got the Hammers on their way to victory at Sunderland, as he leapt highest to nod Noble's corner beyond Vito Mannone.

The Hammers' 17-year-old forward Jordan Brown marked his step-up to Under-21 level with a brace against his former club Arsenal, and this goal finished off a neat team move.

Dan Potts U21s v Arsenal

Defender Dan Potts got on ths scoresheet in the same game, acrobatically hooking the ball home as the Gunners tried to get a corner clear.
