Loanee round-up

There may not have been a West Ham United first-team game on Saturday but there was still one Hammer in action for his loan club.

Robert Hall played a huge part in Birmingham City's dramatic 2-1 win at Burnley by setting up Curtis Davies' opener for the visitors. Hall's curled corner was headed powerfully in by the central defender, before the hosts levelled through a Ross Wallace penalty. Marlon King then grabbed a 90th-minute winner after Burnley had been reduced to ten men through Dean Marney's red card. Ravel Morrison was an unused substitute for the Blues, who move up to 17th place in the npower Championship table.

In League Two, Bradford City were unable to build on their midweek heroics in the Capital One Cup as their home game against Wycombe Wanderers was postponed due to a frozen pitch.

On Thursday, Paul McCallum played 75 minutes for AFC Wimbledon as they secured a 2-2 draw with Port Vale. The Dons had gone two goals ahead thanks to a brace from Jack Midson but the visitors pulled two goals back through Dan Jones and Tom Pope to ensure the spoils were spared. The result leaves AFC Wimbledon at the foot of the table, two points from safety.
