West Ham United Community Sports Trust summer holiday football courses are into their penultimate week and are proving as popular as ever.
The courses, run across London over the past four weeks, have seen record numbers attending, with a new Mini Dribblers' programme for toddlers being particularly well received.
Senior football development officer Bryan Glover hailed another successful summer for the Trust, with plenty of talented, aspiring footballers being referred to West Ham United Academy's development centres.
"The Summer Courses have been excellent," he confirmed. "We have had great numbers at all venues and have received lots of positive feedback from all parents and participants.
"I've been hugely impressed with the standard of the courses, enabling us to refer plenty of players to the Club's Academy development centres, which is always pleasing.
"We'll still be hosting summer courses next week and look forward to ending the summer programme on a high."
Parents of those taking part have been similarly impressed, sharing their feedback with the Trust.
"My son has had a great time and wishes he could attend for the full six weeks holidays," they confirmed. "He has really enjoyed the training from the coaches and can't wait to come back."
Children keen to get involved can still do so, with a final four-day course to be held from Tuesday 27 August onwards at the Trusts' Beckton Community Training Ground and at Gaynes School, Upminster.
