Kieran Sadlier was the hero as West Ham United ended a six-match Barclays U18 Premier League winless run with a 3-1 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The Hammers had not tasted victory since overcoming Tottenham Hotspur in their opening Tier One stage fixture after Christmas on 12 January.
However, leading scorer Sadlier (pictured) ensured Steve Potts' team would have a welcome win to celebrate by scoring twice to take his tally to ten in 18 league matches played this season.
After a goalless first half at Little Heath, Republic of Ireland U19 international Sadlier put the Hammers in front on the hour-mark before doubling the hosts' advantage with 20 minutes remaining.
Then, with 13 minutes to go, first-year scholar and Northern Ireland U17 centre-back Jamie Harney completed the scoring.
The U18s remain bottom of the Tier One table, but can climb above West Bromwich Albion when they travel to the Midlands to face the Baggies. The two sides drew 1-1 in the reverse fixture at Little Heath on 2 February.
