Pay on the day for tonight

Fans not wanting to miss out on the Carling Cup semi-final first leg this evening can still pay on the day.

The turnstiles will be open from 6.15pm in the West Stand Upper and Bobby Moore Upper Stand.  The Ticket Office will naturally be open to callers all day, with supporters advised to get there early to beat the queues.

The club is operating a priority period for those with a cup history should the Hammers win through to the final, meaning supporters who pay on the day should retain their ticket stub for future reference. Click here for more information.

James Tomkins is relishing the thought of a Birmingham battle to match the effort of the previous meeting this season which finished in a 2-2 away draw. "We need to be up for it and the fans will be up for it. It is a big game, a semi-final and a great opportunity to go to Wembley.

"Birmingham will be difficult. They have pace and ability. They are technically good players. It is important to take what we did well in that game [against them at St Andrew's in November]. We went 2-0 up and it was two points dropped. We have to take the positives out of it."
