West Ham United Chairman David Sullivan has updated supporters on the efforts being made to strengthen the Hammers squad this month.
With the team going well on a four-match unbeaten run in the Barclays Premier League and contemplating a Carling Cup semi-final next week, the Board are working behind the scenes to sign new players. Although different names are being linked every single day, the club will not confirm until moves are official.
Mr Sullivan said: "We will bring in two or three players whatever happens and have had a few meetings already. As I say, watch this space but the squad and the players we have now have also shown that they are good enough.
"We can never sit still, though, and this goes for all areas of the club. We have to be mindful that you can only register 25 players and we already have a squad of 30 players."
