Scott Parker has been rewarded for his magnificent form with a recall to the England squad.
The two-time and reigning Hammer of the Year is part of a 25-man selection that will travel to Denmark for Wednesday night's friendly in Copenhagen. Parker - the new SBOBET player of the month for January - is the only West Ham United player involved. However, he could come up against club-mate Lars Jacobsen, who is in the Danish selection.
Parker has been capped three times but has not figured for his country since the 2-0 defeat in Croatia on 11 October 2006, under Steve McClaren. Fabio Capello had placed him in the provisional 30-man squad for last summer's FIFA World Cup but he failed to make the final cut. Parker's debut actually came against Denmark in a 3-2 friendly loss under Sven-Goran Eriksson back in November 2003.
