West Ham United can confirm that Terry Dixon has left the club by mutual consent.
The striker joined in February last year after hard work by the club's medical staff to help him overcome a serious knee injury that had seen him released by Tottenham Hotspur in March 2008.
A Republic of Ireland Under-21 international, Dixon was earmarked for big things when called up at just 16 by his country's senior side.
At West Ham, he was unable to progress beyond the reserves, where he made eight appearances and scored twice. The club would like to wish Terry all the best in his future career.
