First friendly sold out

Hampton and Richmond Borough have confirmed that Thursday night's first pre-season friendly of the summer is sold out.

The Alan Devonshire-managed club are staging the match at their Beveree Stadium from 7.30pm and supporters are asked to note there will be no ticket sales on the day or cash admissions. The non-league club, who just missed out on promotion to the Conference last season will be the only test for Alan Curbishley's squad before they embark on the pre-season tour of the United States and Canada. The players and coaching staff will then fly out to Ohio in readiness to face Columbus Crew of Major League Soccer on Sunday 20 July. They will then move on to Toronto for the high-profile MLS All-Star game on Thursday 24 July, a match that will include David Beckham.
