West Ham United can confirm that David Bellion has completed his loan switch to French side Nice this morning.
David has been on loan at Upton Park since August from Manchester United, who have agreed to a deal that will see him head back to his homeland until the end of the season.
Despite media reports last week claiming that the deal had already gone through, David's move has only just been finalised after a number of crucial factors surrounding the transfer were agreed.
Unfortunately, news of the pending deal was leaked and led to several media organisations claiming the loan move was complete, when in fact it was still some way from being confirmed and could quite easily have fallen through.
