MATTY Etherington and Malky Mackay are both out of tonight's
match with Leicester at Upton Park, but Gavin Williams is included
in the squad after recovering from the ankle injury he picked up
against Crewe.
Etherington jarred his knee in the 1-1 draw earlier in the week and
had to come off just before half-time, but the midfielder is
hopeful of returning for Hammers trip to Wigan. Mackay missed the
Crewe game with a calf injury.
Christian Dailly is still out with a thigh injury but is also
expected to be involved against Wigan, while Don Hutchison is out
with a knee injury.
Anton Ferdinand is fully-fit and is expected to partner Elliott
Ward in defence after suffering no reaction to his hamstring
problem. Striker Sergei Rebrov is also included in the squad after
missing the last five games with a calf problem.
The team to face Leicester City will be chosen from the following
squad:
Bywater (GK), Walker (GK), Lomas, Mullins, Powell, Cohen,
Reo-Coker, Chadwick, Williams, McClenahan, Fletcher, Ferdinand,
Harewood, Zamora, Sheringham, Newton, Noble, Ward, Rebrov.
West Ham United v Leicester City at Upton Park, kick-off 7.45pm.
