TONY Carr knows his Hammers are in for a tough tie when they take
on Manchester City in the FA Youth Cup Fourth Round at Upton Park
this evening, kick-off 7.00pm.
"Training has been going well and obviously not having a game
on Saturday has helped us," said Tony. "Everyone is fit
and raring to go. I am just hoping now that the boys can do
their stuff on the night.
"All the background work you put in it doesn't change the
fact that Manchester City will be a tough call and it is going to
be a hard game. Man City are a very strong side but in the FA Youth
Cup it is all about what happens on the night as some results are
proving already.
"We are in for a very difficult test against Manchester City,
a team with some very good young players.
"It should be a good Cup tie and hopefully we can go
through."
West Ham United's team will be chosen from the following squad:
Kemal (GK), Blackmore (GK), Andrews, Widdowson, White, Tomkins,
Hales, Reid, Cowley, Hines, Ephraim, Welsh, Davidson, Jeffery,
Collison, Spence, Harvey, Bowes.
