Michael Ferrante will play for Bristol Rovers' reserves against
Southend on Wednesday evening.
The 20 year old midfielder is being allowed to play the game by Glenn Roeder and secretary Peter Barnes explains:
"He is going there by way of a trial and if they like what they see Michael will be given permission to join on a month's loan."
The Aussie has not, as has been reported, been given a free transfer, but his contract is presently scheduled to expire at the end of the season.
