West Ham United are pleased to announce that supporters will be
welcome to visit the Boleyn Ground on Tuesday, August 20, to watch
the first team players take part in a light training
session following the opening match of the season at Newcastle
United on Monday.
The gates of the Dr. Martens stand lower tier will be open at 12pm and the players will make an appearance on the pitch from 12.30pm onwards.
Limited parking is available and stewards will be on duty to direct supporters to the entrance gates, while refreshment kiosks in the Dr. Martens Stand lower tier will be in use and the Stadium Superstore will also be open.
The major rebuilding and construction work currently underway at the Chadwell Heath training ground has forced the club to suspend it's policy of allowing supporters in during the school holidays, but this event gives the fans a chance to watch the players train and also see the brand new Upton Park pitch in all it's glory.
