West Ham United's two youth teams enjoyed identical winning
results against Wimbledon in the FA Premier Youth Academy league on
Saturday morning.
Tony Carr's under-19 side and Peter Brabrook's under-17s both secured 2-1 victories over the Dons, with James Allen and Freddy Eastwood scoring for the senior side and Greg Pearson and Graeme Carrick on the scoresheet for the younger age group.
Said Tony of the under-19s victory: "They should have been dead and buried by half-time but there was only going to be one winner once we equalised."
Under-19s team: B.McMahon, Tobolewski, Metitiri, Cleaver, Johnson, Smith, Britton, Cascione, Ritchie, Eastwood, Allen. Unused subs: Khan, Fletcher, Bunce, Morris.
Under-17s team: G.Sealey, McClenahan, Ward, Lumsden, Tattum (Cohen), Akinsete, Carrick, Ferdinand, Saunders (Tucker), Cole, Pearson. Unused subs: Noble, Parrington.
