Frank was told by Frank that he had been picked, and he reveals:
"The fax came to the ground and my dad told us all.
"He said 'well done' but I wouldn't have cared who gave me the news as long as I got the nod.
"I'm very excited and I'd love to be involved out on the pitch.
"It is a great achievement for all of us, and maybe it helps that all three complement each other.
"Michael sits in, Joe gets forward more, and I try to get in between them."
Frank also says that the two 'old timers' will take Michael under his wing, explaining:
"It's Michael's first time in the squad, so he'll be nervous as you always are, so we'll all stick together.
"Perhaps people thought he would only play bits this season, but he has been fantastic.
"Good things have been said about him and he deserves all of it.
"You could see Michael had the talent years ago and he has slotted in at West Ham like he has ben there for years.
"We haven't being playing together that long but we have gone from strength to strength.
"We are all on the same wavelength and looking to improve, and we are good friends, which helps.
"It didn't make me nervous knowing the England manager was watching recently - it was well documented.
"It speaks well of West Ham that three players have come through the ranks in same position.
"We don't have millions to spend like other clubs so long may it continue."
But Frank knows the spotlight is really on them now and he admits that the league form will have to improve as a result:
"We've been inconsistent in the league," he admits.
"Everyone expects us to get 3 points against Bradford and we have to show we can do it in these games and not just get massive results on the big occasion."
The only disappointment, perhaps, is the non-inclusion of Adam Newton - currently on loan at Notts. County - and Steve Bywater in the U21 squads.
