West Ham United will travel to Sunderland in our opening match of the 2025/26 season.
Following the Black Cats' promotion via a dramatic Play-Off final win over Sheffield United last month, this will be the first meeting between the sides since the 2016/17 campaign.
Back then, the Irons secured a 1-0 win at London Stadium, before the teams battled out a 2-2 draw at the Stadium of Light, in which André Ayew and James Collins netted the Irons' goals.
This time around, the match between Graham Potter's and Régis Le Bris' sides will kick-off in the North-East at 3pm BST on Saturday 16 August.
Elsewhere on the opening weekend, champions Liverpool will take on AFC Bournemouth in the campaign's curtain-raiser at Anfield on Friday 15 August.
On the Saturday, Aston Villa face Newcastle United in the early 12.30pm BST kick-off, while Brighton & Hove Albion play Fulham in the 3pm BST slate.
Also at 3pm BST, Nottingham Forest host Brentford and Tottenham Hotspur tackle newly-promoted Burnley at home.
Later on Saturday, Wolverhampton Wanderers will host Manchester City at Molineux, at 5.30pm BST.
On to Sunday 17 August, and Chelsea take on Crystal Palace in a London derby at 2pm BST, before 2024/25 runners-up Arsenal head to Manchester United in a 4.30pm BST blockbuster.
The first weekend of the season concludes on Monday 18 August, when Everton travel to Leeds United for an 8pm BST kick-off.
