2025/26 Fixtures | The opening weekend clashes

West Ham United women’s team will make the short trip to Tottenham Hotspur to kick-start their 2025/26 Barclays Women’s Super League campaign.

The Hammers faced their London rivals three times last season, coming out on top twice with victories in the quarter-finals of the Subway® Women’s League Cup and the WSL at Chigwell Construction Stadium.

The clash at Leyton Orient's Brisbane Road home, scheduled for Sunday 7 September, has been selected for live television coverage in the UK by Sky Sports and will be Martin Ho’s first competitive match in charge of Spurs after the departure of Robert Vilahamn in June.

Elsewhere on the opening weekend, newly-promoted London City Lionesses’ first-ever WSL encounter will see them travel to Emirates Stadium to face UEFA Women’s Champions League holders Arsenal.

Another mouth-watering clash will see Liverpool host Everton for the first Merseyside derby of the campaign, while reigning champions Chelsea will take on Manchester City, who finished last season in fourth.

Meanwhile, Leicester City will make the trip north to face Manchester United and Brighton & Hove Albion will welcome Aston Villa to the south coast.
