Armstrong Okoflex says West Ham United U23s will go into Saturday's Premier League 2 meeting with Manchester United on the crest of a wave after moving up to second in the league table with victory at Tottenham Hotspur earlier this week.
Monday's thrilling 4-3 win, in which Okoflex notched the clincher from the penalty spot, showcased the attacking power of the Hammers, with the likes of Sonny Perkins, Dan Chesters, Kamarai Swyer, Keenan Forson, Pierre Ekwah and Harrison Ashby all helping to create chance after chance.
They also showed their game management ability by tightening up in the second half to make sure of the win, and Okoflex says they can bring that all together for the 90 minutes when they take on the Red Devils at Rush Green.
"These are top games," he said. "Tottenham was a top game earlier in the week and so is this. That's what players want and I'm sure it's entertaining for anyone watching.
"They've got great players and so do we. We've got a very talented squad and a lot of players showed it at Spurs and I'm sure will show it again on Saturday.
"I'm really looking forward to it and we want to continue that nice form that we're in."
Okoflex's run out against Spurs was his first game back after a brief spell out injured, so he was delighted to contribute with his goal.
He added: "It was a good game. We try not to keep it too entertaining on both sides of the pitch, but attacking-wise we did well and created loads of chances and then in the second half we controlled it a little bit more, got the winning goal and managed the game well from there.
"I had quite a few chances and just tried to get myself into positions and could have got more. Dan Chesters really got some good balls in from the right, Harrison Ashby too. I had chances and the goals will come.
"I scored the penalty and I'm always confident on penalties. I knew the goalkeeper, so he kind of knew where I was going, but if you strike it with enough power and accuracy it should go in. He got a hand to it, but it's good to get a goal on my first game back."
