On This Day: West Ham win rearranged Crystal Palace clash

Taking a look back at a classic West Ham United moment on this day in history, in association with RoadX Tyres...

West Ham United thrashed Crystal Palace 4-1 in the Premier League on this day in 1997!

John Hartson fired the Hammers in front on 31 minutes before Neil Shipperley levelled three minutes before half-time. However, Eyal Berkovic's goal meant the Irons went in ahead at the break.

David Unsworth made it 3-1 three minutes after the restart before Steve Lomas completed the scoring 19 minutes from full-time.

The game was being played for a second time, as a floodlight failure had brought proceedings to a premature halt on 65 minutes on 3 November, just moments after Frank Lampard had levelled the scores at 2-2.

Enjoy the goals again here.
