On This Day: West Ham United hit five in Burnley win

Taking a look back at a classic West Ham United moment on this day in history, in association with RoadX Tyres...

West Ham United were involved in one of their most bizarre Premier League games ever at the Boleyn Ground on this day in 2009.

Goals from Jack Collison, Junior Stanislas, Guillermo Franco and a penalty each from Carlton Cole and Luis Jimenez saw West Ham race into a 5-0 lead against Burnley inside 64 minutes.

However, three late goals from Steven Fletcher (two) and Chris Eagles gave the final scoreline an appearance that did not reflect how dominant Gianfranco Zola's side had been for much of the contest.
