West Ham United paid a visit to their partners Intuit QuickBooks at Intuit’s New York office to kick-off the countdown to the Premier League Summer Series.
Intuit QuickBooks are the Club’s Official Sleeve Partner, with their logo proudly sitting on the Men’s and Women’s shirts. The pair have worked closely on several community-based initiatives in east London that include the brilliant ‘Meet The Hammers’ campaign that saw first team stars from the men’s and women’s teams embed themselves in numerous local small businesses!
Club legend Anton Ferdinand and mascot Hammerhead visited Intuit’s New York office to meet and greet staff, to chat all things soccer and find out more about life in New York City.
Ferdinand said: “As a Club we always want to show our appreciation for our partners who are a key part of the West Ham United family. I was delighted to join Hammerhead at Intuit’s New York office and bring some of the east London spirit to the Big Apple.
“Our footprint in America is there for all to see and with the support of Intuit QuickBooks we are so excited to continue to grow our passionate fanbase across the country.”
Over the weekend the Club held a series of events for school children and grassroots soccer coaches as well a watch party for representatives from a number of their official US Supporters' Groups.
Ferdinand also met up with former teammate and captain Nigel Reo-Coker to lead fans in their celebrations after a 2-0 defeat of Manchester United, who the Hammers will next face in New Jersey on Saturday 26 July.
The east London club were in town to ramp up excitement ahead of the Hammers appearance in the Premier League Summer Series, which will see them play in New Jersey, Chicago and Atlanta coming head to head with Premier League rivals Manchester United, Everton and AFC Bournemouth across the three venues.
