West Ham United's August and September fixture changes revealed

Six West Ham United fixtures in August and September have new dates and kick-off times after the latest round of broadcast selections was confirmed.

With the season opener against Manchester City on Sunday 7 August already selected for live broadcast in the UK by Sky Sports, our first away game – at Nottingham Forest the following weekend – will also be shown on Sky Sports.

The trip to the City Ground will now take place on Sunday 14 August, with kick-off at 2pm.

Our home game against Brighton & Hove Albion will move to Sunday 21 August, and our away game at Aston Villa is set for Sunday 28 August, with both games kicking-off at 2pm.

Neither will be broadcast live in the UK, but have moved to their new slots due to our participation in the UEFA Europa Conference League Play-Off Round on the preceding Thursdays.

Next, our first London derby of the new season – at home to Tottenham Hotspur – will be played on Wednesday 31 August, with kick-off at 7.45pm. This match will be broadcast live in the UK by BT Sport.

Into September, and our trip across the capital to face Chelsea at Stamford Bridge is now scheduled for 2pm on Sunday 4 September. Sky Sports will show this game live in the UK, although the date does remain subject to change should Chelsea’s UEFA Champions League game the following midweek be set for the Tuesday.

The London Stadium fixture against Newcastle United has also been chosen for live UK broadcast by Sky Sports and will be played at 2pm on Sunday 11 September.

Finally, should we progress to the UEFA Europa Conference League Group Stage, our trip to Everton, currently scheduled for Saturday 17 September, would also move.
