West Ham United Women partner with Myoovi

Myoovi

West Ham United is proud to announce Myoovi as an Official Supplier of West Ham United Women in an exciting partnership for women’s football.

Myoovi is a women's health and wellness brand based in the UK, founded by UK healthcare professionals. Their flagship product is the Myoovi period pain relief device, which uses TENS technology to provide period pain relief, without drugs or missing out on life. Nine in ten women have painful periods and one in ten suffer with endometriosis and, to alleviate this, Myoovi have combined the power of TENS pain relief into a small, wireless, and portable device, that is easily hidden under clothes.

As part of the agreement, Myoovi will build case studies to further understand and support women’s sporting high performance, allowing West Ham United Women’s coaches and backroom staff to better support player’s needs.

The partnership will see the brand provide their products to West Ham United Women’s players, which discreetly support the prevention of period pain.

West Ham United Chief Commercial Officer Nathan Thompson said: “We are delighted to announce this partnership between West Ham United Women and Myoovi.

"This partnership is poised to be ground-breaking, utilising Myoovi's advanced technology to improve the performance and overall well-being of our players both on and off the field.

"Myoovi's natural and holistic solution will aid our elite athletes in consistently reaching their peak performance. It is an essential step towards our ultimate goal of being one of the leading clubs in English football and elevating the standard of women's football."

Myoovi Founder Adam Hamdi said: “We are extremely proud to be partnering with the West Ham Women’s team. From the start we were always keen to not only provide people with an effective solution to period pain, but also be a brand that champions those with endometriosis and other period related conditions. We want to actively raise awareness for those having to manage severe period pain throughout their daily lives.

"One of our aims through our partnership with West Ham is to not only help provide their players with a solution to their pain but also raise awareness for female footballers having to manage their pain throughout their career.

"From the outset, it was clear that West Ham's ethos clearly aligned with ours in that they were keen to provide this solution to their players, as well as be a leading voice in the football community and openly discussing traditionally taboo topics to remove the stigma surrounding periods and period pain in women's sports.

"We are super excited to break ground together through this partnership and hope to lead a path that other teams can follow.”
