West Ham United Foundation launch Charity Golf Day & Dinner with legends

The West Ham United Foundation is delighted to announce the return of its annual Golf Day & Dinner fundraiser supported by Paragon on Monday 13 May at The Shire, London

Recognised as the number one golfing experience in London, The Shire is the only golf course in the UK designed by five-time major winner Seve Ballesteros. It offers a unique journey through the scenic North London woodlands, including the course’s most challenging 18th hole, featuring an approach where players must avoid making a splash in the S-shaped lake, a nod to the course’s iconic architect.

The golfing experience will also feature challenges along the way on sponsored holes, entertainment from a trick shot artist as well as the convenience of a dedicated cleaning service to give your clubs a sparkling touch before you head to the clubhouse for dinner.

WHU Foundation Golf Day

Every penny raised supports the WHU Foundation in its mission to inspire better futures through the delivery of over 35 initiatives across east London and Essex. These include furthering their efforts to assist families living in poverty, tackle anti-social behaviour and provide employability support.

Guests will be offered the opportunity to sign up to the Foundation’s newsletter where they can get monthly updates on how their contributions are making an impact on those most in need across east London and Essex.

There will be a variety of packages on offer to accommodate different preferences, whether you’re taking to the course with friends and Hammers legends or simply joining us for dinner and the auction. Guests can choose from our team golf experiences or opt for dinner-only packages for 12 guests. Legends such as James Collins, Marlon Harewood, and Jimmy Walker have graced our event in the past, adding to the excitement of the day.

For the golfers, they will tee off with a shotgun start at 11am with everyone convening at the clubhouse for a delicious three course meal at 5pm. During dinner, guests will have the opportunity to hear from WHU legends and participate in a raffle and auction where incredible memorabilia, gifts and experiences will be on offer.
