West Ham United is delighted to announce the signing of Hungary international Anna Csiki on a season-long loan from Tottenham Hotspur.
The 25-year-old, who will wear the No15 shirt during her time with the Irons, will bolster Rehanne Skinner’s midfield ahead of the start of the 2025/26 Barclays Women’s Super League season.
Csiki joined the Lilywhites last summer, following four seasons at Swedish club BK Häcken FF, where she made 89 appearances and played in the UEFA Women’s Champions League.
Having put pen to paper in east London, Csiki is relishing the opportunity to get going in Claret and Blue.
“I’m really excited to be joining West Ham United,” she said.
“I’ve heard a lot of good things about the Club. I had a great chat with Rehanne and she explained her vision for the team, and I knew straight away that this would be the right move for me.
“I’m a left-footed, offensive player that likes to have the ball at my feet. I’m creative and try to help the team as much as I can through scoring goals and making assists.
“Being the first Hungarian player to play in the WSL, and to wear the famous Claret and Blue, is the biggest honour for me and my family. I know that I’m the first but I hope I’m not the last. I’m looking forward to getting started.”
Csiki’s career started at Ferencváros in her native Hungary at the age of 13 and she spent eight seasons at the Budapest-based club before moving to BK Häcken FF in 2020.
While at Ferencváros, she earned her first senior international call-up and has since made 50 appearances for her country. In January, Csiki won the first-ever Women's Hungarian Ballon d'Or.
Skinner shared her delight in adding to her squad ahead of the opening game of the season this weekend.
“We’re really looking forward to welcoming Anna to the Club,” said Skinner.

“We’ve been keen to add to our central midfield options for a little while now and when the opportunity to bring a player of Anna’s quality to West Ham came about, we were delighted to make it happen.
“Anna has a wealth of experience playing in the WSL, the Champions League and on the international stage for Hungary, and I have no doubt that her experience and creativity will be a real asset to the team moving forwards.”
Everyone at West Ham United would like to welcome Anna to the Club and wish her every success during her loan spell in Claret and Blue.
