Summer signings Kyle Walker-Peters and El Hadji Malick Diouf are among the 29 players who have been named in West Ham United’s squad for the Premier League Summer Series in the USA.
The Hammers are set to depart for their first destination of their 12-day trip, New Jersey, on Wednesday afternoon, where they will contest the first of three games in the competition against Manchester United at 7pm EDT on Saturday 26 July.
They will then travel to Chicago, Illinois, to face Everton on Wednesday 30 July, before completing an exciting hat-trick of fixtures by taking on AFC Bournemouth in Atlanta, Georgia on Sunday 3 August.
Looking to feature for the first time in Claret and Blue against the Red Devils, at the the 82,500-capacity MetLife Stadium, will be Walker-Peters, whose arrival at the Club was confirmed on Sunday morning.
Diouf meanwhile, will be hoping to build on a positive second-half display in the 3-1 win over Grasshopper Club Zürich, which saw Callum Marshall, Andy Irving and Lucas Paquetá etch their names on the scoresheet.
All three goalscorers from that game are part of the squad looking to continue building for the start of the Premier League campaign in the States, with Marshall joined by fellow exciting Academy of Football graduates Lanre Awesu, Kaelan Casey, Preston Fearon, Airidas Golambeckis, Finlay Herrick, Mohamadou Kanté, Lewis Orford, Freddie Potts and Ollie Scarles.
Leading the side across the pond will be captain Jarrod Bowen, who will be hoping to get on the scoresheet for the first time in pre-season after netting 14 times in 36 competitive outings during 2024/25.
Midfielder Edson Álvarez will join his teammates in the USA during the Premier League Summer Series, having been granted a longer break after guiding Mexico to the CONCACAF Gold Cup title earlier this summer.
Crysencio Summerville, George Earthy and Krisztián Hegyi have not travelled, with the trio continuing their recovery from their respective injuries at Rush Green.
