With 50 days to go until the 2025 Premier League Summer Series, Graham Potter is already relishing the opportunity of leading his West Ham United squad to the United States.
The Hammers head across the Atlantic Ocean on 23 July to take part in the showpiece four-team tournament, with three exciting matches at iconic stadiums in historic American cities to look forward to.
Potter’s first pre-season as Head Coach will see the Hammers travel to Europe for a fitness and team-building training camp before they travel to the States for what promises to be an unforgettable 12-day trip.
West Ham tackle Manchester United at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on Saturday 26 July, Everton at Soldier Field in Chicago on Wednesday 30 July and AFC Bournemouth at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta on Sunday 3 August. Tickets for all three games are available now HERE.
Potter says the Premier League Summer Series will give himself, his coaching staff and squad - which he hopes will include a number of new signings - to bond, while also giving them an opportunity to experience the passion for football and the Hammers in the US.
“It’s going to be great and I’m really looking forward to it,” he told whufc.com. “I’ll take the time now to have a little reflect and refresh and then I’m really looking forward to pre-season.
“It feels like I haven’t had one for a while, so it’s going to be a really nice time to get to know the players and everybody a bit better outside the competition phase and just build the players up and then hopefully there will be some new faces and we’ll look to gel the group and work in the environment and work in the culture. These things are so important for us.
“West Ham is a fantastic Football Club and like I’ve said many a time, it’s like a family and we need to make sure we respect that and that’s where the work is going to be, in pre-season.”
In addition to facing three Premier League rivals Stateside, the Hammers will also take part in a range of community events, meeting supporters and immersing themselves in American culture.
